Welcome to Red Sun Karate. We are a small club based in Pemberton, Wigan, Lancashire and have been established for over 20 years.

The club has a mixture of age groups ranging from 5yrs upwards and offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in which to learn the traditional art of Shotokan Karate.

We welcome any new members regardless of experience and previous styles, and endeavour to create a friendly atmosphere where students can train at their own pace to maximise learning.

There are no membership fees, and lessons cost just £3 per person. We also offer a discount for families and persons claiming benefits. We are a Community Based club, for the benefit of the local community.

We are Members of The Shobukan Karate Organisation. We are also members of the BRITISH KARATE ASSOCIATION and the ENGLISH KARATE FEDERATION which is the only governing body for English Karate recognised by the WORLD KARATE FEDERATION .
